The SWPS School of Social Science and Humanities is a private university with five campuses spread across Poland that was first founded as a place of learning in 1996. In the major Polish cities of Warsaw, Wroclaw, Sopot, Katowice, and Poznan, the university maintains five campuses. Students at the university may thus have access to the sights, sounds, and cultures of several prominent European towns, many of which already have a vibrant student culture, depending on which campus they are based on. Aside from location, the university works hard to ensure that students are provided with high-quality recreational facilities, which differ by city. The campuses have good transport links into their host cities. Private accommodation is also provided via partner companies and international students are able to access specific advice and support for adjusting to life in Poland. They are a major institution that offers both undergraduate and graduate students a variety of academic programmes. These include bachelor’s degree programmes in law, marketing, journalism, culture studies, and business management, among other fields.
