1. Western Norway University of Applied Sciences or HVL is a Norwegian public institution of higher education, established in January 2017 through the merging of formerly independent colleges across five campuses: Bergen, Forde, Haugesund, Sogndal and Stord.

7. We do not charge tuition for our courses, but unless you are an exchange student, you will need to pay a small study fee each semester. 9. If you prefer to attend a smaller campus for your studies, Forde will be suitable. You may go to concerts, participate in sports, and enjoy the outdoors in the fjords and mountains here. On campus, there is a thriving social scene, and meeting other students is simple.
