University of Agder

1. The University of Adelaide has a number of key research centres in fields like nutrition, eHealth, mathematics, coastal ecology, and artificial intelligence. One of only two business schools in Norway to receive AACSB accreditation is the School of Business and Law at UiA.
2. According to studies, UiA students are incredibly happy, and the Student Welfare Organization in Agder (SiA) is the greatest student organisation in Norway.
3. We work hard to make our academic offerings current and our students employable. Additionally, UiA supports your transition from student to employment.
4. The campus at Kristiansand is modelled like American campuses, with close quarters between structures and ample green space tying everything together. Open but compact. Large but manageable in size.
5. Campus Grimstad is close to several enterprises, some of which collaborate with UiA, as it is located in Southern Norway’s technological park. New, cutting-edge, and perfectly suited to student life is the campus.
6. Students frequently praise instructors for being approachable, transparent, and ready to assist them when needed. Although having an open door policy is not required, we highly support positive interactions between faculty and employees. Our biggest assets are our staff and students since they can collaborate to co-create knowledge for the future.
7. By expanding our campuses, we continue to make it easier for students to interact and communicate with one another. New common rooms, labs, and service facilities are being constructed.
8. Internationalisation is a priority, and we make sure that you can establish an international network even on campus, among other things through our Global Lounge.
9. As a result, we worked hard to provide a festival at the start of the academic year, start-up courses, and specialised services in conjunction with The Student and Welfare Organization in Agder (SiA), The Student Organization in Agder (STA), the “Fadder” programme (buddy system), the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), and the municipalities.
10. High-achieving candidates are sought by the University of Agder to take part in the PhD Research Fellowships in ICT in Norway. The academic year 2022–2023 will accept applications for the University of Agder International Scholarship.
11. Numerous sporting events are provided for students in Kristiansand and Grimstad by the Student Organization in Agder.
