University campuses and delivery locations span a diverse footprint, from the capital cities of Darwin, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney to the regional hubs of Alice Springs, Palmerston, and Katherine and our remote locations in Jabiru, Tennant Creek, and Yulara, as well as on Country – in community, with the community. We embrace the inclusive, resilient, and courageous spirit of the NT. University dedication to the regions in which we operate is reflected in our multi-campus, dual-sector status, virtual and online expertise, course profile, research activities, delivery methods, and operation. The Northern Territory contains just 1% of Australia’s population, 30% of whom are First Nations Peoples, but covering around one-sixth of the country’s land area. We are fortunate to be in a position to use our innovative and significant training, education, and research to improve the opportunities for Northern Australia and our neighbours in the Asia Pacific. The university currently has a new strategic plan in place that will direct the institution’s growth over the following five years. It provides us with a very clear road map for expanding, improving, and strengthening our university while valuing and enabling our staff to make a difference. CDU is a firm believer in the ability of education, research, and training to positively impact people’s lives. We all share responsibility for ensuring that our training, education, and research are not just of the highest calibre and conducted by world-class educators and researchers, but also are available to all and have purpose. For our communities, what we do matters. In order to meet the needs of the Northern Territory and other regional, rural, and remote people on a national and international level, we are a university with strong connections that works in partnership and collaboration with First Nations peoples, our communities and industries, government, and alumni.
