The youngest university in Western Australia is Edith Cowan University, or “ECU,” as everyone refers to us. It is also among the top 50-year-old young universities in the world. However, ECU’s youth has never prevented it from leaving its impact on the field of higher education. Graduates have given the university’s instruction a 5-star rating in the 2022 Good Universities Guide, an incredible fifteen years in a row. According to the government’s yearly QILT (Quality Indicators for Teaching and Learning) study, we have also been named Australia’s top public university for undergraduate teaching quality and skill development for six years in a row.
