1. Hasselt University has two campuses: Hasselt and Diepenbeek. As a new student, you will come to Campus Hasselt to enrol. Campus Diepenbeek houses the Student Administration and Student Facilities Offices, study coaches and the Ombudsman.
2. We use innovative teaching and learning methods, with research-led courses. We have excellent staff consisting of leading authorities.
3. Students and professionals from the 31 VLIR-UOS scholarships countries can apply for a scholarship to attend an ICP. The scholarships are intended for people from the South who hold a responsible position in society.
4. External parties are still welcome to consult the library collection, but the work and study areas in the library are reserved for Hasselt University students (and members of the association). Campus library Diepenbeek has 367 workstations, divided into three different zones: a group work zone, a whisper zone and a quiet work zone.
5. asselt University offers 5 high quality English masters programmes, of which two are also offered in distance learning. We encourage our students to develop academic and employability skills and offer them academic guidance and counselling (incl. flexible study programmes).
6. Access to higher education is highly valued in the Flemish society and all initial bachelor’s and master’s programmes offered at public higher education institutions are subsidised by the Flemish government. That’s why tuition fees are low and you get an excellent price/quality ratio.
