Institute of Technology Tralee

In particular with regard to the area the Institute serves, IIT Tralee is engaged in the provision of third level education, training, and research & development for the State’s economic, technological, scientific, commercial, industrial, social, and cultural development. Additionally, it establishes and maintains connections with other educational institutions, business, industry, other professions, and the community. Three primary schools make up the Institute: the School of Business, Computing & Humanities, the School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics, and the School of Health & Social Sciences. It offers a wide variety of courses, including two-year certificates that serve as stepping stones to three-year ordinaries, four-year honours degrees, master’s degrees, and doctoral degrees. The Institute also offers a variety of lifelong learning and part-time programmes, as well as craft, apprentice, ACCS, and other programmes.
