By providing research-based study programmes, KIT prepares its students for responsible roles in society, business, and the scientific community. Innovation initiatives at KIT serve as a link between significant scientific discoveries and practical applications.Teaching at KIT aims to qualify students by providing a thorough, research-based education, as well as interdisciplinary and social skills training. At the conclusion of their studies, students are able to independently recognise present and upcoming issues, study challenging subjects, and create long-term solutions. Engineering, natural sciences, economics, humanities, and social sciences are all included in the range of topics. KIT conducts research in a wide range of fields, including economics, humanities, and social sciences, in response to the long-term difficulties facing our society. The Karlsruhe House of Young Scientists (KHYS), the main institution of KIT to promote young scientists, is one of the organisations that supports doctoral candidates at KIT in their early autonomous and multidisciplinary research endeavours.
