On the initiative of the Lublin technical associations, the Lublin University of Technology was founded in May 1953.
For nearly 60 years, it has served as a significant educational hub and advisory organisation in the city of Lublin and the surrounding area. LUT importance and standing as the centre of technological science are steadily rising. The school takes an active part in social and economic life, which is crucial for integrating and forming culture. We greatly aids in the region’s growth through its educational and scientific endeavours. The competitiveness of the manufacturing industry and specialised service sectors will determine how significant the area is in the united Europe. As a result, helping people has evolved into one of the most important facets of Lublin University of Technology’s mission. The 77 934 aq. M. of accessible space at Lublin University of Technology is divided among 23 buildings. The Lublin University of Technology offers postgraduate studies in addition to first-, second-, and third-level (PhD degree) academic programmes. The university offers supplementary courses for High School students and workers in the sector who wish to continue their vocational education as well as post-degree study options. At Lublin University of Technology, there are six faculties, including the faculties of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, the Civil Engineering and Architecture Faculty, the Environmental Engineering Faculty, the Faculty of Technology Fundamentals, the Management Faculty. Library gathers both printed and digital copies of current international and Polish technical literature. 175 thousand printed books and magazines have already been collected. Subscriptions include 30 foreign titles and almost 300 Polish publications.
