Poznan University of Technology

1. The purpose of the university is to teach at all levels of higher education and in a mode of lifelong learning in close connection with scientific and R&D activities carried out at the university in collaboration with potential employers for graduates and in interaction with society.
2. The goal is to establish a top technology university in the nation, one that is well-known in Europe, a valuable and sought-after partner for foreign universities, and one that ensures top-notch instruction and top-tier research and development.

Students who excel in international competitions, work in scholarly groups, and belong to student organisations are the actual sources of pride for the university.
4. Around 460 international agreements have been negotiated by PUT with universities in and outside of Europe. The University has long participated in bilateral exchange agreements and the Erasmus+ programme. PUT works with up to 190 universities from around the world on scientific research.
5. Additionally, PUT has 40 sports clubs where nearly 1200 students frequently workout. PUT placed fourth among technical universities in the Polish Academic Championship’s 2019 technical university category and fifth overall. Tennis, bowling, spinning, field hockey, indoor rowing, squash, and gyms are all available at the PUT Sports Center.

Providing that all of the conditions are met, we can receive awards more than once throughout the length of a degree programme. awards a special Rector’s Scholarship to the graduate and postgraduate students with the highest academic standing. The grant is given for a calendar year. As long as all necessary conditions are met, it can be renewed.
7. In 1951, the Academic Sport Union (AZS) club and the Poznan University of Technology’s sports centre were both established. All of the instructors at the Sports Center are highly qualified trainers and sports instructors, so they can run classes and sports sessions at a very high level.
8. Both the Academic Sport Union (AZS) club and the sports complex at Poznan University of Technology were founded in 1951. As highly skilled trainers and sports instructors, all of the teachers at the Sports Center are capable of leading classes and sporting events at a very high level.
