The Engineering School was established in 1951 on the initiative of the Rzeszow PZL factory employees, who were organised into the Association of Polish Engineers and Technicians. This event marks the beginning of the history of Rzeszow University of Technology. Evening classes were used to train mechanical engineers to support PZL, a manufacturer of communications equipment. The newly established polytechnic proceeded through several stages of development; in 1952, it was supervised by the Engineering Evening School in Cracow, and in 1955, the Cracow University of Technology took over. The school’s first batch of engineers, 24 in total, received their diplomas in September of that year. The value of the University’s instruction and research is emphasised through all of the aforementioned activities. To better prepare the graduates of tomorrow with the tools they need to meet the social, economic, and cultural problems of the new millennium, the university works to conserve the best aspects of its traditions while encouraging innovation. Ignacy Usiewicz Rzeszow University of Technology is a publicly supported academic institution that is a part of Poland’s national education and scientific infrastructure. The Rzeszow University of Technology provides a wide range of programmes and courses to its students. Additionally, it conducts research and works on scientific projects in the applied sciences’ particular domains of engineering, mathematics, physics, economics, and the chemical and biological sciences.
