Technical University of Crete

Founded in 1977 in Chania, Crete, the Technical University of Crete admitted its first students in1984. Five engineering schools make up the Technical University of Crete, and each one of them offers undergraduate and graduate programmes. These include production engineering, architecture, electrical and computer engineering, environmental engineering, and engineering of mineral resources. There is a career services office that helps students choose a career path and gets them ready for job interviews in order to prepare students for life after college. The university residential halls on campus include everything a student might possibly need, including a bed, internet access, a private bathroom, as well as social areas, laundry facilities, and a fully functional kitchen. Additionally, there are cafeterias, computer labs, and libraries. There are numerous clubs that students can join. Students can participate in sporting facilities, a variety of sports, activities, and tournaments during the academic year. The Technical University of Crete has developed connections with academic institutions all over the world, engaging in a variety of exchange activities such academic exchanges, collaborative scientific research, and the chance for students to study abroad.
