1. The search for excellence, improved service, updating the collection, supporting our users and increasing the visibility of our academic and scientific production are the main objectives of this service.
2 . The Academy is responsible for organizing and promoting corporate training, specialization and postgraduate courses, to which specialization (DE) or postgraduate (DPG) or MBA degrees are awarded, according to the duration and the programs of training available.
3 UFP always collaborated with the evolving community by developing services that would balance research and students interaction. These projects can be agreements to produce contents to private companies, community health services, conferences, exhibitions, etc. Also, there are R&D projects directly related to the community.
4. Academic and cultural activities also play a fundamental role, creating value and promoting ties that last after the conclusion of the university course. The Student Association, Student Centers and Tunas are examples of this, proving the dynamics of the university.
5. At UFP, university attach great importance to physical and sports activities, whose contribution we know is fundamental to health and well-being. In this sense, we have a Health and Leisure Academy and we encourage University Sports promoted by the Student Association.
6. lso within the scope of health services, the Hospital-Escola da Universidade Fernando Pessoa assumes itself as a provider of general and specialized health care, provided by professionals of excellence.
