University of Economics – Varna

1. Bulgaria is one of the most affordable countries in Europe which helps students concentrate on their school work rather than having to worry about their income and living expenses.
2. At UE – Varna, more than 300 international students are pursuing degrees from 52 different countries. We collaborate with 258 universities in 45 different nations, and we are one of the three sites for the UK’s Nottingham Business School work placements, together with Valencia and Toulouse. More than 1,800 businesses and government agencies cooperate with us.
3. Six research and consultancy centres at the University of Economics-Varna Research Institute carry out a wide range of initiatives. Over 350,000 books, an electronic catalogue, a digitalization automatic scanner, a book check-in machine, and a scanning and reading computer terminal for the blind are all housed in the 2,100 square metre University of Economics – Varna Library. The library won the Bulgarian Library and Information Association’s 2011 Library of the Year Contest.
5. A number of mobility exchange programmes, including ERASMUS+, CEEPUS, TEMPUS, etc., have included us as a partner HEI. More than 5% of UE-Varna students complete internships and job placements abroad.
6. With subscriptions to the top databases and electronic publications, it is currently one of the most cutting-edge in this nation. More than 6,200 titles with full texts are accessible through the electronic catalogue. The library has been a recognised European Documentation Center since 2007, receiving and lending materials from the European Commission.
7. It creates and maintains relationships with around 190 colleges around the world.
