University of Kaposvar

1. Hungary has a university called the University of Kaposvár. It was started in the year 2000. Both undergraduate and graduate programmes are available. The University includes the Iregszemcse Feed Crops Research Institute and the Health Sciences Center.
2. The students’ lives are made more comfortable by a snack bar, computer and multimedia rooms, and a fitness centre with a sauna. The university’s main campus spans around eight acres and is regarded as Hungary’s most picturesque campus.

The Kaposvár University Library occupies a total area of 1700 m2 in the centre of the campus and offers 150 patron seats, two spacious reading rooms, free WiFi, and some technology services (computer use, photocopying, and printing) to library users. There are around 200 000 documents in the library’s collection, and the majority of them are kept in public spaces.
4. The agricultural and educational knowledge centres in Kaposvár were expanded after the turn of the millennium with schools for economics, special needs education, social sciences, arts, and humanities. The campus facilities and infrastructure were also changed to accommodate a larger number of students.
