In Melbourne, Australia, there is a public research institution called the University of Melbourne. We is the second-oldest university in Australia and the first in the state of Victoria, having been founded in 1853. The primary site is situated in Parkville, a Melbourne suburb, and there are other additional campuses spread out around Victoria. These include the Werribee, Burnley, Creswick, Dookie, Shepparton, and Southbank campuses.
