The present University of Salerno is a distinct institution founded in 1970. Its faculties include letters and philosophy, teacher training, mathematics and science, law, and economics. University of Salerno is ranked #425 in Best Global Universities. Schools are ranked according to their performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence. The University of Salerno will offer scholarships to international students who have obtained a bachelor’s degree abroad and wish to enrol in a Master Degree Course.  Some housing units are specially equipped for students with disabilities. Others are intended for foreign students and teachers for the purpose of fostering internationalization.
